Is Health Coaching Right for Me?

Health coaching is for individuals who are determined to improve their overall health or have specific goals they would like to achieve. These goals can be related to a multiple of different areas of health.

Examples of top level goals from previous clients include:

  1. “having a reported 10/10 energy level after I get home from work to be able to show up as the best parent I can be for my kids”
  2. “get to the start line of the Chicago marathon without injury”
  3. “prevent injuries and continue to get strong as I get older in order to maintain my ability to ski and play with my kids”
  4. “walk 15 min without pain”
  5. “be happy with my body and feel I am moving forwards on my health journey”

Some of these examples are specific to one of our foundational pillars, for example a movement goal, however require input from the other pillars in order to achieve them. To get to the start line of a marathon you will need to have your sleep, nutrition, mental health, and movement pieces in check. Health coaching will prioritize which areas need to be addressed in order to give you the best possible chance for success.

Everyone has a unique situation and has certain challenges in their present point in life. As we move forward our goals change, resources change, and our environment may change which makes things challenging to adapt to. Health coaching is here to guide you no matter what your situation. You are always in the driver’s seat and in charge of your journey and the decision making process. We are your merely your guide to provide evidence informed information, support when you need, and to provide accountability to keep you on track.

Here are a few examples of individual situations that benefited from our health coaching service:

  1. A student struggling to balance the demands of medical school
  2. A mother wanting to set a better example of a healthy life for her kids
  3. A dad wanting to get back to being able to perform at a high level as well as be his kids soccer coach
